ABOUT PARENTS AS COACHES

Research has shown that parental involvement in a student’s education results in greater student success at school. As a parent, we can continuously learn new skills that will assist us in becoming the best parents and coaches possible so we can prepare our students for success in school and beyond.  See Parents as Coaches Overview

Organizationally, Parents as Coaches International is a  semi-autonomous resource group of FACTS, and is developing FACTSnet networks with other organizations. 


History: Parents as Coaches originated with the Nait Parents As Career Coaches seminar and discussions at Spruce Grove Composite High School School Council.in 2009,  As result of these discussions Parehts As Coaches was born and a session was held for the school open house (see original flyer).
